Great location once you find it, views are incredible. Great service even though they were hosting a large event. Didn't try any of the food options but we'll be back again.

really cute place to try some new ciders and wine. i was here for about an hour and a half and enjoyed a flight and a glass from their taps. the workers were really kind and the ambiance was a nice tucked away, chill vibe from the city and oakland. worth the 15 min drive! i would come back for a cute date night or on a hot sunny day for the back patio.

Beautiful views! The was really good. The beignets were fresh and hot. So good! Wonderful wine and cider on tap. Definitely a great place for a date or a glass of wine with the girl's. They had live music, so the cover charge was $5. I ordered the poke tacos, French fries, beignets, and shrimp pizza. All was good, except the poke tacos. The weather was perfect enough to see the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate. Watching the sail boats go pass really made it even better. The location is definitely a hidden gem. Nice people working there also.

Was introduced to this company and their excellent hard cider at our local Farmer's Market. The customer service rep on site was so helpful and did such a great job telling me all about their excellent product. Taste testing was a lot of fun . . . product is healthy, refreshing with a nice "buzz" to it. Yes, I am now a customer. Thank you!

While down in the bay, escaping the Sacramento heat, my husband and I and our dogs met up with a friend at Far West Cider Co., which was pouring inside Riggers loft. They had a cover the day we were there, because there was a band and live music on the patio but the view is stunning, and the whole atmosphere is very open and modern. I loved that there were options for other beverages and food as well but the cider itself was delicious. We each opted for a different cider so that we could try a variety of the options and compare. The cider was clean and crisp and not too sweet.

I went to Far West Cider Co with some friends a few weeks back, and thought it was pretty nice! To start off, this venue is well-designed for Covid. It's essentially a large warehouse, so it is very spacious and easy to social distance. There is also an outside area with a great view of San Francisco. I was able to try a few items from the menu, and was happy with everything I got. I ordered the Quattro Formaggio pizza and thought it was a bit expensive (around $16) but the portion was generous enough that you could split it with another person. My group also ordered the beignets, which were a big hit! Lastly, it wouldn't be a review of Far West Cider Co without some commentary on the Cider. I'm not a cider expert, so I can't say much. However, I really appreciated the variety of cider options and that they let you try samples before going with your pick. I ended up choosing the apple pie spiced cider and thought it was delicious!

*Open for outdoor seating - recommend making a reservation in advance!* Safety precautions: All staff wear masks. Upon arriving, the hosts at the front will take your temperature, ask you to wash your hands at the station, then take you to your table. Drinks and food: There are many selections for flights, cider, wine, etc. The guava cider was great! It's definitely on the sweeter side. We came here more for a snack rather than a full meal. We ordered the cheesecake, which was delicious. If I wasn't full, I would have ordered another. We also ordered a charcuterie board. Ambiance: The live band was great and provided some fun entertainment. People were enjoying dining together and dancing to the music. Being on the water, it was windy and cold here. Definitely recommend bringing a jacket and blanket. Excited to come back here again soon!

Not a beer drinker or pretty any alcoholic beverage other than wussy drinks (pina colada, daquiris, et al). In my college years, wine coolers were my preference. Then, rum and Coke. Then, the 'party years', kamikaze's, screwdrivers, and Long Island iced teas. Then I grew up... got a job, had responsibilities... oops, too much information. So, in shopping at the Ferry Farmers Market in September, there were a number of new businesses who joined the fray on the south driveway. In seeing some apples (early in the season), I also happened to notice this business had a table to the side of Sur La Table. What caught my eye? Californian cider with pink guava (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=5Vr7kHMZlkGiS3KM6TkBGg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). If you know me when it comes to fruits and drinks, I'm down for anything related to guava. I put it in my fridge until my schedule was such that a. I could afford to be hungover the next morning if I downed this thing and b. it was a warm enough evening to warrant have a nice cold one. I had it as a post Saturday dinner beverage and it was slightly sweet with a bit of a tang to the aftertaste. I am certainly no connoisseur when it comes to wines and spirits but I was feeling a little mellow after about 2/3rds of the can. Early in the season, I also bought some apples from them which were crunchy and delicious (early fujis). Stop by if you are a beer or cider person. Maybe you'll find something that leaves you a little mellow afterwards...
